With the economic globalization , the flexible social system in modern society, the serious competition and the rapidly developing technology, the employees, especially those in software enterprises have suffered from huge job stress.The turnover intention, which is considered to be the best predicator of turnover rate, is closely related to the job stress. High turnover rate will affect the stability of the organization and thus increase the cost on human resources. So the stress management in software enterprises becomes one of the most important issues in human resource management.In this research, we investigated 153 employees in 5 Beijing software enterprises by questionnaire and analyzed the relationship between their turnover intention and the job stress with a"job stress - position satisfaction - turnover intention"model.With the example regression and factor analysis, we found that: Job stress was positively related to turnover intention; Among the 5 respects in job stress, namely job requirement, job compensation and promotion, job overtime, role in job and interpersonal relationship, the job requirement was negatively related to turnover intention, while the other 4 were all positively related; Job satisfaction had a mediating effect between job stress and turnover intention; Some demographic variables had significant effect on the job stress, turnover intention and job satisfaction.Advices were also presented. Hope to give some help to the human resources management in software enterprises.
