Chinese rural tourism which started to develop in 80's of 20 centuries falls behind that of western countries near half a century. Presently it is expected to step to growing stage from starting period. Taking actions that suit local circumstance to develop rural tourism has important meaning, which helps to resolve Three Agriculture Problem as well as strengthen vitality of tourism development.Aiming at characteristics of rural tourism resources of Guiyang and the problems on the way of development, this article integrates theory with practice, focuses on how to develop rural tourism products in Guiyang and potential demanding market with effective marketing strategies in order to promote the development of local rural tourism and contribute to new village construction greatly. The means of writing are demonstration, research, and analysis through looking up in a reference.This article gives introduction to the rural tourism resources of Guiyang in classification. And designs 3 big competitive suburban districts, 3 traveling routines, and 2 special products for rural tourism with the principals of sustainability, people oriented, fine project and so on. Basing on different target marketing position and product catalogs, the writer put forward some constructive marketing strategy suggestion. With the rational scientific direction help and a series of implement of promotion policies from the local government, sound creative independent development and management from operating companies, the great development on rural tourism of Guiyang can be expected happen soon.
