More and more foreign and local banks focus on SME customers and the competitive strategies of these banks are some times not the same. Citibank has made great progress and success in China recent years, especially in SME business development compared with other banks.Through the angles of SME's characteristics as well as Porter's five force's analysis, the article uses PEST and SWOT model aims to outline and analyze Citibank's SME developing perspective and competitive strategy in China. The article also point out SME competition in future China market and gives the Citibank's possible countermeasure.
