Professional Operation And Management Of Small And Medium-sized Private Hydropower Station In Sichuan Province To Study

The present study primarily aimed to analyze the management of the small and medium-sized private hydroelectric power stations in Sichuan Province. By finding out and diagnosing the problems in such field, the current research proposed a modern, scientific, and service-oriented system and some specific measures involved in the system to operate and manage such small and medium-sized private hydro power stations. First, the present study explored how foreign hydro power stations were operated and managed, considered their advanced experience and our existing problems, and suggested the factors contributing to the operation and management of the small and medium-sized private hydroelectric stations in Sichuan. Then, the study examined how the modern hydro power stations implemented and maintained their professional management and established an integrated professional management system for those small and medium-sized private ones. Finally, the problems in the operation of those stations were summarized and some possible solutions were put forward.The study were mainly organized as follows:The background and significance of this study were presented first. It was followed by the problems existing in professional operation and management of hydro power stations in Sichuan today.Second, operation and management of hydro power stations home and abroad were compared to illustrate the advantages and disadvantages of the stations in Sichuan.Then, the analysis specified the current situation of the small and medium-sized ones.The fourth part introduced a system to serve as the basis of their professional operation and management and proposed some innovative measures in detail.The present research proposed maximum profits under the precondition of environmental protection to realize optimized collocation of human and natural resources. This criterion resulted from study on helpful experiences from other countries.Last came the conclusion, prospect, and suggestions.
