The Globalization is influencing the relations among different countries and regions deeply. The relationship between Taiwan and Mainland is affected by this world trend too.So this relationship shows some new characteristics. But the extent of this effect is restricted by many political factors of Taiwan. It makes the interaction between economics and politics of Taiwan and Mainland relations complicated. On the one hand,it's completely new,on the other hand,it inherit something from history.Taiwan and Mainland are at different positions in the world production system because their functions in the economics globalization are very different. And this coin has two sides. The reasons of this status are the mixture of globalization and Taiwan political factors. The trade imbalance of washcloths between Taiwan and Mainland was a normal market phenomena and a natural result of industry divide. But this trade result evolved a conflict in 2005-2006 influenced by political factors. This process and result made some blocks to the development of Taiwan and Mainland. There are many works should be done if we want to reduce the negative influence of political factors in the globalization era.Firstly,Taiwan and Mainland couldn't misunderstand the problems in their trade and economic cooperation. Secondly, they must do their efforts in order to solve their own economic handicaps. Thirdly, they all should avoid that the trade conflict become to a ideology competition. Globalization and political factors will still work in the future,so how to eliminate the political factor's impact and develop the relations between Taiwan and Mainland is an very important mission in the globalization era.
