Study Of Global Leadership In The Corporate Context Of Globalization

The globalization of management needs global leadership. The research of global leadership is still a new and edge theme to most of researchers in China. In fact, the lack of global leadership has become the bottle neck of enterprises in growing and developing of the twenty-first century. Further more, the phemenon will probably last. In order to maintain the core competitive advantage and realize the globalization in the current international economy, the enterprises should better absorb, employ and develop the global leadership.According to the mutual relationship between the global leadeship and globalization of enterprises, this thesis begins with analysis the condition and problems of Chinese enterprises in their process of globalization. Then it also provides some suggestions in the global leadership development and trainning. The methodology of the essay is a blend of quanlitative and comparative analysis methods. To specify, this thesis sysmetically studies the global leadership theories; on the other hand, the thesis tries to compare the global leadership development and training practices between international enterprises in aboard and at home; finally, this thesis tentatively put forward some suggestions to the enterprises of China.The innovation of the thesis lies in the following aspects. Firstly, it enriches the relative research field of the global leadership through systematical analysis of the theories and literatures. Secondly, it chooses a unique perspective based on the globalization of enterprises to study the global leadership. This specific perspective will improve the relative research in both research fields. Thirdly, it provides some practical suggetions to the development of the global leadership.
