Red tourism is a kind of new special tourism product. It combines revolution tradition education with tourism industry. The features of integrating knowledge instruction into tourism and game playing attracts a large number of tourists, and it also helps the old revolutionary base areas to develop its economic and culture, becoming one of the high points of tourism economic development of our country in recent years. Yimeng mountain area means Linyi of Shandong, the famous old revolutionary base area, with abundant red tourism resources. In recent years, Yimeng mountain area has adopted a series of positive policies and measures in the management and marketing to promote the comprehensive development of the red tourism. However, it also has existed some problems such as absent the cultural connotations, incomplete management system and so on.This paper utilized broad senses of red tourism , expanding the subject of red tourism resources to the period of socialist construction, on this basis ,in light of the growth pole theory ,sustainable development and comparative advantage theory, the writer invesigated the red tourism resources and other color tourism resources,including green,blue and culture tourism resources in Yimeng mountain area, revealing the Characteristic of red tourism of Yimeng mountain area, the red tourism of Yimeng mountain area can lay out the effect of the masse in revolutionary,this paper also illustrates the condition and the present situation of the development of red tourism in Yimeng mountain area, also analyzing the problems and Restricting Factors of the Sustainable Development of Yimeng mountain area red tourism, in the end , proposing remedial some measures.
