Correspondently, the forms and policy environment of ethnic trade have changed either. Especially, there existed certain gaps between traditional ethnic trade theory and practical reality in new situation.Besides, Chinese ethnic trade policy has promoted market boom and economic development in ethnic regions. However, with the speeding up of market economy construction, some problems also have emerged, such as: the difficulty of carrying out ethnic trade policy has increased while its benefit decreased; the number of enterprises that can enjoy the preferential policy has dropped drastically; The funds which are used to put the preferential policy into effect has continued to erode; preferential tax policies are hard to be implemented and carried out. If ethnic trade policy can not be adjusted and improved in time, the expected objective and effect of ethnic policy to support the development of ethnic regions will never be achieved.Therefore, with the background of Great Western Development, entry into WTO and normalization of nationwide market, this thesis tries to study the theory and policy of ethnic trade policy, give them new meanings and then make clear their new historical position and significance.In this paper, the formation and development of national trade in the history of the main line, summed up China's national trade from scratch, from the weak to the continuous development of the historical process. Looking back through history, the national trade shows in every historical period in the development of that national minority areas of trade on national economic and social development as well as the important role. Sort out on the basis of history, the article also in the market economy under the conditions of the development of the national economy has done a summary of discussion, especially in Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Guangxi and Yunnan Province, the three minority autonomous regions in the development of national trade the dynamic tracking, the data collected to describe the market economy in the development of national trade, reflecting the development of ethnic minority regions of the demands of trade.
