Research, Industrial Model Of Integration Based On The Value Chain Perspective

Since 1970s and 1980s, industry convergence has been prospering in global area. The convergence is happening primarily in 3C– namely Computer industry, Communication industry and Consumer-electronic industry, and then it expands to agriculture and tourism, food and medicine, biology and energy and etc. Industry convergence shows that the industries original boundary becomes dim and even disappearing, e.g. the business overlapping, strategic alignment, merging and acquisition.The process of"To put forward the economic and social informatization"on the 15th congress, to"to drive industrialization through informatization and to drive informatization through industrialization"on the 16th congress and then"to put forward the convergence between informatization and industrialization"on the 17th congress express that China, as a developing contry faced with hard tasks to proceed industrialization and advance informatization, should develop the imbed software and solutions in the fields of automobile, pharmaceuitical and equipment industries and walk along the road of convergence between informatization and industrialization. Consequently, the convergence of industries between information services and manufacturing has become one of main trends.Although the industry convergence plays more and more important roles in the sustainable development of industry structure and competence of some country or region and wins wider and wider attention of academia, the systematic research of academia is fragile. Hence, on one hand, it cannot demonstrate the relationship between convergence and the division of labor which will make it difficult to explain the nature and necessity of convergence; on the other hand, the current research focuses on the influence of technological innovation on the industry convergence instead of on the the model of the convergence between information services and manufacturing sector especially in the terms of value chains.The thesis aims to do research on the model of industry convergence, especially those between the information services and manufacturing sector, and draws a conclusion that the convergence can improve and upgrade the manufacturing sector. Chapter 1 is the introduction of the foreign and domestic research on the convergence related convergence theories both of essence and significance; chapter 2 is analysis of the industry convergence model and puts forward a new model of the industry convergence on the basis of value chain; chapter 3 is the specific analysis of the model of the industry convergence between information services and manufacturing sector; chapter 4 is analysis of defects during domestic industry convergence between information service and manufacturing sector and then policy suggestions.The innovation of this thesis lies on the convergence mechanism analysis and policies between information services and manufacturing sector on the value chains– emergence of new products, R&D of products, manufacturing of products, sales of products and etc.
