The Export Tax Rebate System And The Rmb Exchange Rate Comparative Analysis Of The Impact On Exports

Export tax refund and Renminbi exchange rate both are very important in adjusting China's oversea trade. China's trade surplus increase rapidly over the last few years. But large amount of trade surplus lead to serious disequilibrium in our international balance of payments. At the same time, extensive form development way has many problems which can't last anymore. Export tax refund and Renminbi exchange rate, which policy is more effective to adjusting export? And how to improve the two policies when we first aim is upgrading of our industrial structure?This paper analyzes export tax refund and Renminbi exchange rate both in theory and in demonstration try to answer the two questions. Besides, considering the difference between Renminbi nominal exchange rate and actual exchange rate, this paper analyzes them in two equations. Chose the amount of export, Export tax refund and Renminbi exchange rate between 1995 and 2008 as sample, In one side, directly analyzes the relationship between export situation and different adjusting policies. In the other side estimates the economic effect of export tax refund and Renminbi exchange rate with the method of line returning analyzing. At last, according analyzes to give suggestions to make export refund systerm and Renminbi exchange policy more effective.
