Based On Game Theory "deterrence - The Bargaining Model

The world has seen great changes since the end of cold war. After the heyday during the cold war, the development of deterrence theory has to face the reality that the world has become an interdependent integrity. However, for sovereign nations, deterrence power is the fundamental factor affecting national existence. How to compromise the conflict between reality and factor? In this process, diplomacy could play an important part.This paper reviews the interactive development between game theory and international relation research, deterrence theory and then establishes the"deterrence and negotiation"model based on game theory, which discuss the coexistence of deterrence and negotiation and presents the value of diplomacy from academic perspective, and lastly propose the related schemes.
