Listed Companies In Social Responsibility Information Disclosure-related Research And Enterprise Value

The development of companies brings economic benefits to society, but also brings a lot of the negative impact. As the companies' social influence growing, people begin to pay more attention to corporate social responsibility, especially for the research which listed companies could disclose the information of social responsibility has also been increasing.At present, the research of listed companies in our country to disclose information on the social responsibility is still in its early stages. For one thing, relevant research is still quiet few, and most of the limitations of the quantitative study data are not strong, and it can not accurately reflect the current situation as well. For the other thing, there are few empirical research on the relationship between the disclosure of enterprise information of social responsibility and the enterprise interest, moreover, relevant controversial conclusions from the research still exists.As to these questions, this article tries to set up a evaluation system of social responsibility information disclosure, and then from such areas as the direct economic impact, environmental issues, labor management and labor rights, social welfare, product liability, human rights and so on, to study Chinese condition through a positive analysis. Firstly make use of the way of the stratified-sampling, we select 115 samples from sub-sectors of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and anatomize their annual reports in 2007. Then we find that some characteristics of disclosure system. On this basis, we use uninitiated regression analysis and multiple regression analysis to analysis the relationship between the disclosure of our county listed corporate social responsibility information and corporate interest. From the empirical analysis, the correlation of both is not strong. But there is a significant positive correlation between the situation of listed corporate disclosing corporate social responsibility and the scale of business. By analyzing these findings, this paper gives some advice on Chinese corporate social responsibility information disclosure, and we hope it will be beneficial to the future research.
