Discussion On Equipment Management Of Modern Tobacco Business Enterprise Logistics Center

Along with the logistics development and supply chain management reform, the demand of logistics service is pop out. And more and more logistics centers are constructed in recent years. As other industries Tobacco industry also focus on the contemporary supply chain management. Many new technologies such as AS/RS, automatic carton sorting and picking system , AGV and RFID are very popular in tobacco logistic and distribution center.With the progress of Tobacco industry logistic consolidation, more and more new logistics and distribution centers had been builted. But the matter of how to support and maintain the logistic system brings a tremendous challenge to the plant engineering.This paper based on the equipment management practices of haiyan logistics center which is a representative modern distribution center in tobacco industry. In the article the equipments and facilities which have been used in the modern logistic center had been introduced. And the author discussed the application of equipment management thinking in contemporary logistic center .Try to explain how to build a high quality , across-the-aboard and fully guaranteed equipment management system by using modern information technology management ,setting up the equipment management standard system, choosing appropriate maintenance strategy.The research may provide some experience and bring some reference to the company which has modern distribution center, particularly to the logistic and distribute center of tobacco industry, who are in the start or preparation stage for logistic development.
