Green Credit Of Commercial Banks In China To Study

With the growing development of the society and economy, the environmental problem is becoming a big issue all over the world, and it is also a problem for China which should be considered during the development of economy. Since economic growth can not worked well without financial activity, financial support is a very necessary and important way of environmental protection.In the first of this thesis, through the introduction of the definition of green credit policy and. the analysis of its background, this thesis pointed out that the development of green credit policy in commercial banks is the necessary requirements of sustainable development of society and environmental risk management in commercial banks, and it is also the necessary requirements of fulfilling social responsibility and enhancing international competitiveness for commercial banks. Secondly, this thesis analyzes the international and domestic green credit practice. Thirdly, the thesis pointed out that China's green credit practice still exist many problems, such as the conflict between enterprise efficiency and social responsibility, the stress from local administration, communication problems of environmental information, lack of innovation and so on. Finally, this thesis gives corresponding solutions for these problems, and pointed out that both government and commercial banks should strive to develop China's green credit policy to give financial support for environmental protection.
