The development impetus of a city pipeline gas enterprise is the ability of attracting and retaining talent as well as the stabilization and optimization of its workforce. Nowadays, among several methods of attracting and stabilizing employees, payment undoubtedly has the first priority. Payment satisfaction has always affected employees' attitudes, behaviors, performance, belongingness, mobility, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to know about employees'payment status and demand through a survey about payment satisfaction in the pipeline gas enterprise so as to optimize the institution of payment and corresponding culture, to improve the employees'payment satisfaction, to promote the stability and optimization of workforce, and then improve the market competitiveness and core competitiveness of the enterprise. Meanwhile, considering that there is a gap in the research of employees'payment satisfaction in specific type of enterprise and the research of payment satisfaction is also not adequate, through this survey and research, it is accessible to look into the features of this type of enterprise, filling the gap of payment satisfaction research in such type of enterprise and providing some valuable firsthand material in the theatrical research of payment satisfaction.In this paper, based on the collection of former research result on payment satisfaction and corresponding incentive theory, MS pipeline gas LTD (hereinafter referred to as the MS Company) is selected as the survey object and its status of human resource and payment management are investigated with which the relevant variables affecting payment satisfaction are focused on. Referring to Payment Satisfaction Questionnaire (PSQ) and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ), a 5-point Likert scale is adopted and then a payment satisfaction questionnaire is designed with the evolution indicator being sifted.350 pieces of questionnaire are handed out to employees by means of random sampling with 305 valid pieces being recovered. Later on, the validity and reliability of the collected data are evaluated and analyzed with the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation method being mainly adopted and the employees' payment satisfaction level and the satisfaction level of every sub-indicators are analyzed, drawing the conclusion:the overall payment satisfaction of employees is relatively low; as far as the classes of position are concerned, managers at every rank have high satisfaction while technicians, clerks, front-line workers has lower satisfaction; as far as the items are concerned, welfare satisfaction has the highest level, second to which is the performance assessment system (bonus), and the salary satisfaction has the lowest level. Meantime, associated with the current payment policy and its effect of implementation, the primary factor which affects employees' payment satisfaction is revealed and the some remedy proposal based on the MS Company is offered, by which a city pipeline gas enterprise can improve its employees' payment satisfaction and optimize its payment strategies.
