Study Of International Trade In Goods And Services Trade

With the rapid development of service industries and the rapid growth of international trade in services, service industry and service trade development have become an important indicator of a country's economic development level, and the level of development of trade in services can reflect if the foreign trade structure of one country is reasonable or not. Since the reform and opening up, China's foreign trade has made great progress, in terms of scale and quantity, but there are problems in quality and structure and the development of trade in services and trade in goods is imbalance. This stage, China's service trade development lagged far behind the development of trade in goods. It is important to grasp the relationship between the two as far as possible to avoid negative impacts and make them promote each other. Balanced development of foreign trade in China has a very important significance.From a theoretical point of view, this paper studies the trade in goods and services correlated relationship, then from an empirical point of view this paper analyzes it with data analysis and means of building economic models and find out if these two can mutually influence each other positively.Establishing the mathematical model of the services trade and goods trade, we found the long-term balance relationship exists between trade in goods and services trade, and the result shows there correlation is very strong.In China, the development of trade in goods and services trade imbalance is largely due to development of service sector in China is far less developed than industry sector. In China, trade liberalization in services is later, the degree of openness is low and service trade legislation lags behind. Concerning China's trade in services and goods for trade development relationship the characteristics of their development and current status of uneven development, we puts forward some policy proposals. The first aspect is the promoting trade in services development with the upgrade of the structure of trade in goods. The technological innovation and brands strategy are also important. The second aspect is that using the development of trade in services to promote structural optimization of trade in goods. It is important to develop modern services sector, occupy new markets and strengthen the basis for China's service trade. Another one is speeding up the legislation in the area of trade in services and system improvement.The development of service outsourcing also can accelerate China's trade in services.
