As the competitive environment of third-party logistics is increasingly complicated, and logistics enterprises are on the rise of competitive, it is more and more important for TPLs to select viable and effective competitive tacticses for survival and development. However, due to a number of viable competitive tacticses with different conditions and influences, TPLs are gotten into troubles of tactics decision-making. So,TPLs need an effective methods to establish viable competitive strategies, which cAn change arbitrary of decision-making in the past. The current research mainly focuses on the strategic level, researchers propose development strategies from the macro point of view, which have received wide recognition. However, research from the micro perspective is far from enough, which belongs to tactics level studies, and can help TPLs to coordinate and enhance the market position. What's more is that these studies presented only the general sense of the competitive tacticses, TPL-specific competitive tacticses are relatively inadequate.Good TPL competitive tactics should be based on business characteristics, well adapted to the living environment, and established on the basis of the combining analysis of the internal resources and external competitors. However, the existing TPL competitive tactics research is relatively weak in combination of resources and competition, so a corporate niche theory has been introduced to this study and put forward a system for options of competitive tacticses.First of all, builds an ecological niche overlap and the state and trend evaluation index system of TPL from the piont of resource dimension, viability dimension, customer dimension and time dimension on the basis of the Assessment process. TPL niche assessment system will analyze capacity and resources of TPL, identify competitors, and judge level of competition between TPLs, TPL and other logistics enterprises in the different field; but also to assess the TPLs state and trends of development, and the relative competitiveness. It is the foundation for the TPLs to find a suitable space for development, and to establish tacticses in the logistics market.Secondly, proposes methods of competitive tacticses options-- "the first to determine niche overlap between TPLs, the latter to determine TPLs state and trends":For the first, calculate ecological niche overlap of the different TPLs in the same field of competition from the time dimension, space dimension and the dimensions of customer demand, analysis advantages, direction of development and classified TPLs;The next step, judges the niche state and trends of TPLs, analyze development status and evaluate the potential of the development; last, puts forward tacticses combined with resources and capacities. The effectiveness and feasibility of the method have been analysised through empirical analysis. Finally, proposes the "generalization" and "speciality" of competitive tacticses in conjunction with enterprise niche separation theory, elaborates niche separation "special " tacticses based on the time dimension, space dimension and the customer dimension of the TPLs.And estabilishes competition tacticses for a enterprise using tacticses selection theory through empirical research. The research of competition tacticses based on the theory of enterprise niche to estAblish a TPL evaluation system to make a more comprehensive and Accurate Assessment for TPLs; analysis the advantages, disadvantaages and competitiveness of TPLs using model of niche overlap and the state and trends; propose corresponding " generalization" or "speciality" tacticses from the point of time dimension, space dimension and the dimension of customers. Which is an viable and competitive method, and can compensate the lack of specific tacticses. However, the classification of general Aspects is also obviously insufficient, TPL competitive tacticses also need to be further strengthened.
