Sichuan National Grass-roots Health Personnel Training Research

China is the most populous country in the world, composed of 56 nationalities. Minority nationalities health concerns to a powerful country and national prosperity. Health officers are the crucial factor that accelerates the economic and social development of national minorities in minority areas. Minority areas are almost located in the mountains, and remote areas. Natural conditions of ethnic villages are bad economic conditions of ethnic villages with low level of material and cultural life lay behind. People lack of health consciousness and medical knowledge in minority areas. The incidence of infectious diseases and endemic diseases is high in minority areas. Due to the history, economic, geography and other reasons, grassroots health development lags behind in minority areas of Sichuan Province. The quantities of health officers are insufficient. The structure of health officers is unreasonable. The education background and professional title of health officers are low. The grassroots health service in minority areas faced with severe challenges.Therefore, it is worth exploring and researching question that how to play education resource advantage and according to the actual demand of health officers in minority areas of Sichuan Province, the new, applicable and valuable mode of health officers'training should be explored to cultivate health officers for grassroots health institutions, to meet the current needs of health development, to promote and maintain national unity stable, and to satisfy the increased health needs.This article analyzed the health development status and main problems of the team of health officers and pointed out the defect of existing policy for health officers' training and bottlenecks of health officers'training in minority areas of Sichuan Province. Finally, this study innovatively proposed the new mode of health officers' training, giving priority to general medical personnel, combining college degree with on-the-job education, combining external providing assistance training with their training, and combining with policy guarantee and participation of society in minority areas of Sichuan Province. The new mode of health officers'training is used to guide the construction of health officers in minority areas. It is significant to stable the team of grass-root health officers, to improve quality of health officers, to promote specialty construction and professional education of health officers reasonable.
