Background:As a common Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) syndrome in clinical, Qi stagnancy and blood stasis syndrome has no unified diagnostic criteria or effect assessment standard. Its essence still belongs to the hotspot and difficulty of research。For many years the domestic scholars tried to use modern science technology and methods to analytic and expound its essence, and have gotten some achievements. But Qi stagnancy and blood stasis syndrome has not yet a unified, general diagnosis'and efficacy evaluation standard, which is not conducive to the standardized research. Future research should try to find out the specific and sensitive index for Qi stagnancy and blood stasis syndrome, and explore to establish a scientific and practical diagnostic criteria of this syndrome, offering help to the future scientific research and clinical therapy. Objective:With syndrome as the core, standardize diagnosis and therapeutic evaluation of Qi stagnancy and blood stasis syndrome, and define the weights of characters in the syndrome. The study would be a helpful reference for diagnosing and evaluating Qi stagnancy and blood stasis syndrome in clinical trials. Methods:According to the Delphi method,20 experts were sent the questionnaires and consulted. The statistical analysis of weight and consistency coefficient were operated by the SPSS software. According to the diagnostic criteria, clinical questionnaires were made to 100 patients of Qi stagnancy and blood stasis syndrome from the Xiyuan hospital. Those clinical questionnaires were recycled and were calculated for the comparative study of the results. Results:In the first round of the Delphi research, the recovery rate is 100%, and the coordinate coefficient on diagnosis criteria is 0.281 (X2=67.334, P< 0.001). In the second round, the recovery rate is also 100%, and the coordinate coefficient on diagnosis criteria is 0.207 (X2=70.693, P< 0.001). The weights of 20 characters in Qi stagnancy and blood stasis syndrome were defined. The Clinical investigation included 100 cases of patients, and found that 10 characters had higher frequency (the frequency≥50%).Conclusion:The Delphi method affirms the interrogation is quite significant for the diagnosis of Qi stagnancy and blood stasis. and preliminarily determines 20 items of the diagnostic criteria. Clinical survey examines this diagnostic criteria, and shows the results are not completely consistent to the experts'advice. The study provides reference for the future clinical and basic research for Qi stagnancy and blood stasis.
