Influenza is an influenza virus-induced acute respiratory infections, Is a contagious, spread fast, serious harm to human health. In particular,2009 H1N1 Influenza, the global outbreak of flu, More challenges to medical scholars, To seek effective medical methods of influenza prevention and control has become an important research topic. Modern medicine, flu outbreak or pandemic, the most effective preventive approach is vaccination, but its implementation and effects of both the limitations and shortcomings. Chinese exogenous influenza epidemics are areas, Traditional Chinese Medicine for a comprehensive understanding of exogenous disease and complete treatment system, "Influenza" broke out, Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing issued a timely manner "Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Administration Influenza H1N1 influenza prevention programs," Widely used in clinical practice, but its effectiveness is still a lack of strong data support. This subject is Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, carried out under the strong support of prevention and treatment of influenza in clinical research medicine, Chinese medicine seeks to provide evidence-based prevention and control of influenza. In this study, to evaluate prevention programs in community medicine incidence of influenza among the preventive effect of influenza prevention and control for the effectiveness of Chinese medicine to provide evidence-based basis.Methods:3078 cases chosen in Dong Cheng district of Beijing were randomly divided into adult intervention group, adult control group, old intervention group and old control group. The adult intervention group and old intervention group took oral medicine for the adults and old respectively. The two control group took nothing. The occurrence of influenza was observed.Statistical methods:Data input with Epidata3.1 completed. Statistical analysis was SAS8.2 statistical analysis software for processing. Measurement data were mean±standard deviation for statistical description. Count data were analyzed by chi-square test. To P<0.05 as statistically significant difference between the standard significantly. Results:Compared with the adult control group, the incidence of influenza of TCM intervention group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was significant. In adult group body-mass index(BMI) less than 30, the incidence of influenza in TCM intervention group was lower than that of the control group, there was a statistical difference between these two groups; In adult group BMI more than 30, however, no statistical difference was found. And there was also no statistical difference in incidence of influenza between the old intervention group and old control group. Conclusion:TCM intervention plan has the effect of preventing the occurrence of Flu.
