| OBJECTIVE: This thesis does a preliminary study on the effects on the prevention and curing the retinal lesion of diabetes and the forming of Neovascularization by using the Tang Mu Qing bag soaking medicine. METHODS: We have done the clinical observe and animal experiments by using Tang Mu Qing and comparing another group with Tang Mai Kang. RESULTS: Clinical surveying and treating for 30 patients and animal experimants and comparing another group using Tang Mai Kang medicine, we got the total effective rates of Tang Mu Qing respectively 94.92% ,81.67% and it's obviously different. Comparing the other group, the OPS total value of the treated group were enhanced obviously and the confining quantity of ET-lof blood reduced a lot (p<0.01).It is proved by the animal experimants that this medicine can reduce the blood sugar of the rates which suffering the diabetes, and decrease ET-1, IGF-2 in the serum and in the eye organization.
