| Under the guide of the 1CM kidney-brain related theory,this article explored the effect and some mechanism of liuwei dihuang wan(LW)in curing cerebral ischemia .TCM considers that the kidney and the brain are closely inter-related, they are inter-promoting physiologically and inter-effecting pathologically. This theory always has profound value in clinic from ancient times to today. According to this theory,recently,ischemic apoplexy is usually located to kidney in TCM.Hyponephroyin must lead to blood stasis.Therefore, nephroyin asthenia and blood stasis is the basic pathogenesis of apoplexy.Accordinglly,enriching nephroyin and activating blood circulation is the basic therapeutic principle.LW is the representative and classic prescription which nourishes nepliroyin.It also can activate blood circulation~ This study indicated that (1)LW could lower blood pressure slightly and maybe have good effect in early hypertension.(2)LW can reduce the water quantity of brain and damage of neuron cell in ischemic-reperfusing rat. (3)LW could evidently enhance NO which can modulate the condition of blood vessel.(4) LW could apparently enhance the activities of SOD and slightly reduce MIDA in brain.It indicated LW has anti-free radicals function.As a result,the experiment suggested that LW has good preventing effect on cerebral ischemia.This article has provided partial experimental foundation in etiology-pathogenesis theory and TCM therapies.So it has important theoretical and practical value. |
