| Objective: To study the mechanism of sweat glands secrection with MaHuangTang(MIHT). Method: Adopting semithin section and ultrathin section technique, pathological lesions of Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats sweat glands were observed with photon and JEOL-lOOsx transmission electron microscope by using positive control group of Pilocarpine in this paper. Results: MHT had little function in decreasing the body fever when SD rat's central nervous system was inhibited, while Pilocarpine had still strong function. When the central nervous was normal, there were more sweat glands secretion and more secretion resides with the concentration of MIHT rising. The ultra-structure changes of MHT groups had remark differences in comparison with the normal group (P < 0.01). MIHT's ultra-structure changes were different from Pilocarpine's. The action of MIIT increasing sweat liquid was lower but keeping the function on decreasing body fever was longer. Conclusion: MHT has significant function on reducing body fever, and the central nervous system's effect is the important mechanism of its decreasing body fever. |
