The doctors accumulatedabundant cllnical exPer1ence 1n treating and Preventin8 CVA. Acu-moxi andChmese herbs are tWo major methods used TCM. However, tLhere are lacks of3data about combining Acu-moxi with herbs and the clinic contrast observ8t1onis rarity. This research sets about clinical effect. In order tO elucidate thepossible mechanism of action. we stUdy the different regulations onbloodvessel endOtheliocyte function and the inf[uence on boune function.'TO stUdy the optheum combinations of the tWo methods can offer the clinicnew w8ys with stable and good cUraive effeCts. The clinical effects of combination ofacu-moxi and herbs fOr stroke66 cases of strokc due to ener8ydeficiency and bloodstasis have bcendivided into three grouPs f combmation grOup (A). acu-moxi group (B) andherbs grOuP (C ). After 2l days treatment, the effeCt ls assessed wlth degree ofncrve dysfunction list. The result shows tha total effective rate was 96% inpouP A. 95% in grOup B. 86.7% in grouP C shO~ th8t GrOuP A&B werebetter than grouP C. But the signmcant effective rate was 4Oo/, 25%. 4.76%respectively. lt is obviously that acu punc tU re- mokibuSti o n has ad vantagein treating the clinical symPtoms and improving the quality of 1if e.The effect is related to age and stato of the disease. not rclated to sex.2. We have observed the differeni level ofET/NO of 66 cases of StrOke befOre and after thcir trCdrient. And theresult is as fOllow f The ET level of them obviously increases whilethe NO level decreases evidelltly ET/NO's change of all groups isremarkably (P<0.05).
