The first part: Differentially expressed on prostate cancer by cDNA microarray analysisObjective: To evaluate the role of expression microarray analysis in molecular pathophysiology of prostate cancer and in the indentification of novel cancer associated genes. Methods: A series of expression microarray analysis of human prostate cancer were initiated by cDNA microarray which representing a set of 4366 human genes. Results: By applying this cDNA microarray, were identified 287 differentially expressed genes in all B clinical prostate cancer and samples and we further identified VEGF for functional analysisConclusion: cDNA microarray is effective in screening novel cancer associated genes and it is helpful for rapid exploring of their role in prostate cancer.
