Uterine Bleeding Tcm Treatment Traceable And Modern Research

Metrorrhagia and metrostaxis is suddenly heavy bleeding or metrostaxis prolonged for many days not during the menstrual period, the former is called metrorrhagia, and the latter is called metrostaxis. The patients are usually accompanied with anemia due to blood loss for a long time, which is bad to the patients' health. This article systematically states the disease from the following aspects: concept, pathogenic factors, pathogenesis, differentiation and treatment of common syndromes, progress of modern research and so on.Professor Jin Jiling indicates that the pathogenic factors and pathogenesis of this disease is "deficienly of the kidney is the origin, stagnation of the blood is the superficiality". She points that "activing blood circulation to remove blood stasis, cureing metrorrhagia by invigorating the Chong meridian" to cure the superficiality during bleeding period; and "tonifying yin and replenishing the kidney, regulaging the Chong and Ren meridians " to cure the origin during non-blooding peried. We observed 50 cases suffering from anovulatory dysfunctional uterine bleeding (including 30 cases of western medicine control group). Results: the effective rate in treat group is 96% and the effective rate in control group is 80%, P<0.05. Conclusions: Chinese medicine on this disease can obtain good curative effect, and it deserves to be spread and studied in the clinic.
