Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To investigate the effect of Sinusitis Oral liquid on acute suppurative sinusitis (ARS) of rabbits, and to explore its mechanism to the nasal mucociliary transporting system.Method:Injecting staphylococus aurous into the maxillary sinuses of rabbits induced experimental ARS models. A week later, high and low dosage of Sinusitis Oral liquid was irrigated to the stomachs. Penicillin V was used for the positive medicine. After a week's therapy, the count of white blood cells, mucociliary transporting time, erythrocyte immune adherence,C-reactive protein, bacteria culture were tested. Light microscope and scanning electron microscope were observed to show changes of the sinus mucosa. Results:Experimental ARS rabbits are apparently abnormal in following parameters:CRP,RBC-Cjb,RBC-IC,mucociliary transporting time. Moreover, light microscope view and scanning electron microscope view of the sinus . mucosa manifest typical pathological changes of ARS. Sinusitis Oral liquid improved above facts apparently. Additionly, its mucociliary transporting tune are better than Group GV. mucociliary timeConclusion:Low dosage of Sinusitis Oral liquid can modulate abnormal mucociliary system of ARS rabbits through different ways and links. Sinusitis Oral Liquid manifests good entirety effect. Moreover Strengthening erythrocyte immune adherent function and eliminating inflammation are one of principal mechanism of prophylactic therapeutic action of Sinusitis Oral Liquid on ARS This research has provided experimental basis for the effect of Sinusitis Oral liquid,...
