Objective To Study the effect and monoaraine mechanism on anxietymouse model from morphine treated by acupuncture. Methods Theanxiety mice model was formed based on the principle of morphine increasement day by day, in which after the mouse were reduceded into morphine dependence, naloxone was given. The model mouse were treated with acupuncture on acupoint "Sanyinjiao (SP6) " . The behaviour index and DA, ME, 5-HT, 5-HIAA contents in the mouse' s brains were measured, respectively by T-maze and fluorospectro-photometry. Results 1. Thebehaviour outcome shows that before and after the model mouse treated with acupuncture, there is a great significance difference between staying in the open and closed arms of T-maze, that is, in closed arm, shorter than before treatment; at the same time, longer than before acupuncture dealt in open arm, P<0. 05; 2. The level of DA, NE, 5-HIAA, 5-HT in anxiety model mouse group indicates that they increase greatly, contrasted to normal group, respectively p<0. OU p<0.01 > p<0. OK p<0. 05; the concentration of DA, NE, 5-HT, 5-HIAA in the anxiety model with acupuncture group decrease apparently, compared with the former, p<0. 01; there is no significance difference in the level of NE, 5-HIAA, 5-HT between anxiety model and that dealt with 0.9% normal saline group, p>0. 05;while great significance difference exists in them contrasted with anxiety model with acupuncture group, respectively p<0. 05, p<0.05, p<0.01; There is a decrease trend in anxiety model with 0.9% normal salinegroup and a significant difference between it and model group, p<0. 05 Conclusion These results suggest that acupuncture has aanti-anxiety effect in the anxiety model mouse from morphine addiction which is possible modulated with neurobiological mechanism, especially by increasing the monoamine concentration in the brain, i. e. enhancing DA, NE, 5-HT, 5-HIAA level.
