| ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Wu Qi hepatitis B granule on patients of deficiency of liver yin and kidney yin with chronic HBV infection, Meanwhile this research try to investigate the functional mechanisms of Wu Qi hepatitis B granule and provide scientific clinical basic for its product and use. MethodsSixty cases were randomly divided into 2 groups, each 30. one for treatment and the other for control. Observeded by double blind method. For treatment group, treated by Wu Qi hepatitis B granule, otherwise in control group, Yang Yin Huo Xue granule was used. The therapeutic courses in both groups was 3 months before and after treatment. The study was designed to investigate the changes of clinical syndrome, physical sign, liver function and markers of hepatitis B rivus before and after the treatment by physical examination and lab test. Results1.The effective rate of each clinical syndrome and physical sign between two groups was' t an obvious difference(p>0.05).2.The clinical total effective rates were 96.67% and 82.76% in treatment and control group respectively. It was' t an obvious difference between two groups (p>0.05).3.The rate that the serum ALT activity has reserved to the normal level in two groups were 72.41% and 70.37% in treatment and control group.It was not an obvious difference between two groups(p>0.05).4.The turning negative rates of HBeAg and HBV-DNA in treatment group and control group were 34.78%, 40.74% and 25.00%,38.46% respectively. According check, the turning negative rates of HBeAg and HBV-DNA between Wu Qi and Yang Yin Huo Xue granule were not distinctive(p>0.05). ConclusionTwo medicines have similarly curative effect for patients of deficiency of liver yin and kidney yin with chronic hepatitis B. however, the medicine dose of Wu Qi hepatitis B granule is 1/4 control medicine and its outside package don' t incloud sugar, so it could be used for those patients who may not eat enough sugar. |
