Osteoarthritis Prevention And Treatment Research

Osteoarthritis is about chronic progressive articular cartilage degenerative disease. The middle-aged and the old- aged who suffered from the disease will appear the necrosis and apoptosis of the articular cartilage cell. It is very effective treatment by integration of TCM and western medicine. This paper sums up the research of the pathology and treatment about TCM and western medicine over recent years, introducing the experience of my tutor. In addition ,it can concluded that TCM therapy can improve the patient's condition and apoptosis of the cartilage cell. But the therapy of western medicine is very effective on improve the patient's condition, including the sereve side effect and sorts of complications. Now,along with the development of the protective agent of articular cartilage and tissue engineering, the problems can be solved in the future. Besides , integration of TCM and western medicine preserve the progressive of exploit .Secondly, this paper briefly introduces professor Zeng' s special and long-term clinical experience of treating osteoarthritis .
