Bi Zheng also known as Arthralgia Syndrome (AS). It is characterized by aching & numbness in the limbs or all over body, and loss of function of one or more connecting or supporting body structures. They affect especially joints, tendons, ligaments, bones and muscles, and also internal organs. The symptoms are similar to Rheumatic Diseases. There are over 100 types of rheumatic diseases, most of which show some forms of joint inflammation. It is often being referred to as "Arthritis" .If the symptoms of Arthritis show sign of fever, redness and swelling with constant or recurring pain, or tenderness in the affected joints, stiffness in one or more joints, enlargement and distortion of affected joints, difficulty in joint movement, it is categorized as Re Bi, or Arthralgia fever syndrome. It affects people of all age. Many of the underlying causes of arthritis are unclear.Based on academic research papers and clinical reports, this article concludes that principle of classification and treatment of Seasonal Febrile Diseases (SFD), "Wei Qi Ying Xue" , is applicable to the treatment of Re Bi clinically. Both share common symptoms such as, acute attack with high temperature, redness, swelling and pain in joint. It may develop into irregular blood circulation, cause damage to the internal organs. Besides, both share similar pathogenesis and syndrome when develop, from superficial to collateral levels.A compilation of proven cases over years shows that the approach of applying "Wei Qi Ying Xue" principle on Re Bi has improved the therapeutic result significantly.
