The cause of coronary artery disease (CAD) is that atherosclerosis of cronary narrow or even block the artery vessel. It also leads to myocadial ischaeme or hpyoxia.Some researches show that there are many factors acting. The hot point is that high OxLDL is the main coaxial factor endothelial cell over apoptosis which leads to the disorder of endothelial cell leading to artery atherosclerosis. So it is very important to lower LDL-C and to advance HDL-C. It is the key point of the therapy of CAD.The TCM study of CAD is according to blood stasis, we always regard eliminate blood stasis as the basic therapy. Through hard working of clinic research, I find the disorder of lipid has some relation with TCM "phlegm" and deficiency of Qi. In my study I find that active Qi and eliminate phelegm could do good to the disorder of lipid. This may be a new way to adjust lipid and worth discussing.
