| Malignant tumour, also named as cancer, is one of the diseases that harm to life of mankind. It is statistical result from World Health Organization (WHO) that there are 10 million people diagnosed as cancer every year in the world, and over 1.4 million people die from cancer, which has been rising recently. It is the global problem to overcome cancer facing medicinal workers. Nowadays, chemotherapeutics is the main treatment method beside operation, but it has some disadvantages such as poor selectivity, strong side-effect and immunosuppressive action. And more and more medicinal and nutriology experts realize that diet and nutrition should be paid much importance for precaution and treatment because effect of most medicine aiming to cancer is far from expectation. The effect and mechanism of Shou Bai Xing capsule(SBX) on suppression on malignant tumor have been explored in this research based on the theory that immune can be improved by adequate diet and nutrition. And there are three parts following in the research. 1 Review on literatures. The precautionary measures and meaning and relationship with malignant tumor in TCM theory have been summarized generally, and most studies on MHC and relationship with malignant tumor also have been summarized based on abroad and home researches. 2 Theory study. Theory study in this research includes two aspects, in one hand, the theory and views of diet and nutrition in TCM and Westen medicine have been compared to explore the effect and mechanism of diet and nutrition on malignant tumor. In theory of TCM, Diet and nutriology of TCM is based on theory of TCM, and ployphagia entirety is the key to keep health, and and dietary pattern consists of five grains, five fruits, five domestic animals and five kinds of vegetables and all those must coordinate adequately. In addition, inner balance and concordance with exterior nature also need to be paid importance. However, it is the view of nutriology of Westen medicine that nutrients must be taken in adequately to keep the inner balance of body based on their microcosmic researches. It is suggested in this research that diet and nutriology should make a much more important role in precaution and treatment on cancer immune, and the nutriologic immune therapy should be based on confluences of TCM and Westen medicine. The form of Shou Bai Xing capsule has been analyzed in the second part of this research. And this capsule includes many nutrients such as glossy ganoderma, propolis, arginine, methionine, carotene-β, yeast of rich Se and so on. And these components come from Chinese Medicine, and some are necessary nutrients for body. So, it is a form that collect the advantages of Westen and Orient intelligence, and based on historical experience and moden techonology. It is necessary to anlysis the three-dimensional form of Shou Bai Xing capsule according to the traditional theory that every form consists of king, minister, assistant and instructer, so it can help to evalute the function of health food in future. 3 Experimental study. There are mainly two parts as following: In the first part experiment, the effect of SBX capsule on regulating immune function has been observed. NIH mice in first experiment have been divided into four groups, named as blank control group, the group of large dose of SBX, the group of middle dose of SBX capsue and the group of small dose of SBX group, and all mice have been administered continually for 15 days and the cellar immune function has been determined on the 15th and 28th day. According to the result, the phagocytosis ability of peritoneal macrophage and the function of endothelial system has been improved,and carbon particle has been cleared more quickly, the anti-tumor activity of natural killer cell has been improved significantly, and the function of non-specific cellular immunity has been reinforced.Delayed hypersensitivity of mice has been improved by SBX capsule, which shows that specific cellular immunity can be reinforced by SBX capsule.
