Apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry. Influence at chromosome distal end was analyzed by chromosome end-end fusion analysis. Expression of TRF1, TRF2 weredetermined by western blot analysis.Results: MTT assay showed that AS2O3 clearly inhibited growth ofMGC803 cells ,which depending time and dosage. The apoptosis rates were significantly higher than the control did ,which heightened in a concentration and time-dependent manner. These changes were not found in the control group. After disposal of 5μmol.L-1 AS2O3, chromosome fusion rate was obviously increased in 48 hrs.
