Presently, fatness and Hyperlipidemias have become the disease that seriously affect the health of human beings in the world. Therefore, how to prevent and treat fatness turns into the focus of research in the field of physic and nutriology. Taking best advantage of natural plant resources and exploiting green medicine and healthy food to benefit the sociality is the necessary tendency of the modern development of Chinese traditional medicine. Potentilla anserine L. is a kind of plant in Tibetan tableland. Some researches have shown that Potentilla anserine L. has significant effect on anti-fatigue, hypoxia tolerance and anti-anemia. However, whether it has the function of reducing blood lipid and weight is never systematically studied. Systematical research is carried out in the thesis on the effective part of Potentilla anserine L. on the reduction of blood grease, and mechanism of losing weight in order to better exploit its medical function to effectively treat fatness and Hyperlipidemias. 1. Reference summarization: (1) The ever researches on Potentilla are summarized with reference to nutritional content, chemical content, medical activity, production technique and so on. The deficiency of these researches is pointed out and the further research direction is proposed. (2) The present domestic and abroad research situation is summed up with regard to the formation and harm of Hyperlipidemias, ways of reducing blood lipid, the bioactive compounds of Chinese traditional medicine for reducing blood grease, the distilled compounds of Chinese traditional medicine for reducing blood grease, compound Chinese traditional medicine for deducing blood grease and so on. (3) The present research development of losing weight is expatiated through the mechanism of formation of fatness, the sort and function of weight lost medicine. 2. Functional experiments studies: this experiment adopts model group of mice that are used high grease food to feed to arouse Hyperlipidemias. The result shows that this model group is successfully constructed. These mice suffered from the high blood grease are fed with different dosages of Potentilla anserine L. The result reveals: (1) TC of male mice, which are fed with feed containing 10% Potentilla anserine L., is reduced 14.7%, while that of female mice is reduced 17.35%; Cholesterin of male mice, which are fed with feed containing 20% Potentilla anserine L., is reduced 56.79%, while that of female mice is reduced 39.03%; TC of male mice, which are fed with feed containing 40% Potentilla anserine L., is reduced 40.02%, while that of female mice is reduced 12.75%. The statistic illustrates that the feed containing 20% and 40% Potentilla anserine L. can obviously reduce the content of cholesterin of the mice. (2) The content of TG of male mice, which is fed with the feed containing 20% Potentilla anserine L., is reduced 32.1%, while that of male mice, which are fed with the feed containing 40% Potentilla anserine L., is reduced 40.7%. The statistic shows that Potentilla anserine L. has the function of reducing the TG of healthy mice and the sick mice suffered from the high blood grease. (3) The weight and fat index of mice of different dosages groups are reduced. The weight lost of 40% dosage group is the most evident; the activity of serum lipase of 20% dosage group is apparently higher than the compared group and model group (p<0.01), especially the weight lost of male mice. (4) The content of MAD of 10% and 20& dosage group is distinctively lowered in compare to the model group. This shows that the Potentilla anserine L. can enhance the body capacity of anti-oxidation and has very good prevention and treatment of AS. 3. The study on the effective part: (1) Adopting the activity pursuit method, the research on the active content for lowering blood lipid and losing weight of Potentilla anserine L. is done for the first time. After many filtrations of projects, the effective part of reduction of blood lipid and weight lost is primarily confirmed: the Potentilla anserine L. is soared in water for 48 hours, which is four times as much as Potentilla anserine L. and 60c. The obtained solution is blend with the 95% ethanol, which is four times as much as the solution, then placed for 12 hours to deposit the unwanted sugar. After the unwanted sugar is eliminated by centrifuged, the obtained material is the effective part. Because the different component of the material, which are isolated through organic solution, can not reach the same effect of the obtained material without isolation, the function of Potentilla anserine L. of reduction of blood lipid and weight is the result of cooperation of different components. (2) Adopting usual analysis method of nutriology and common pile-up method of bioactive compounds of Chinese traditional medicine, the content of nutrition is analyzed and its containing Chinese traditional medicine content is tested. The results indicate that it consists of crude protein 35。2%,total sugar 3.4%, reducing sugar17.5%, amino acid 12.5%, alkaloid 2.26%,flavone1.76%,organic acid 2.04%. 4. The studies on the mechanism of Potentilla anserine L. on weight lost: adopting the traditional 滴定法to test the content of key-enzyme of decomposing lipid---HSL, and CAMP and MTL were detected by radioimmunoassay . The result indicates that Potentilla anserine L. can increase the thickness of cAMP. cAMP,as the second messenger, can active cAMPDPK in the cell to cause the inactive HSL to phosphorylate to transform into the active HSL. Correspondently, the content of HSL is increased and plays the function of dissolving the fat. Meantime, the Potentilla anserine L. can also increase the thickness of MTL,strengthen the activity of stomach, and fasten the movement of intestines and stomach to accelerate digestion and defecation, which is concorded with the record in pharmacopoeia of Tibet. Therefore, the research result indicates that the mechanism of Potentilla anserine L. on weight lost may be: (1) dependent on the enhancement of activity of enzyme to accelerate the dissolution of fat, (2) dependent on improve the activity of stomach to accelerate the movement of intestines and stomach to increase the amount of exhaust and decrease the absorbed fat. The experiment, for the first time, proposes that the Potentilla anserine L. has the function of reduction of blood grease and weight. The research method is creative in the field of exploitation of Potentilla anserine. And it provides the scientific evidence for the further exploiting Potentilla anserine to become the natural healthy medicine on reduction of blood lipid and weight.
