Objective: To study the effect of moxibustion in relative cell cycle control gene change of HCC precancerous lesion on big rats.Method: 74 SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: 1.Blank control group (20); 2. Model group (27); 3. Moxibustion group (27). The rats of model group received 0. 5 0. 625 ml DEN injection at the concentration of 16mg/ml in the first experimental day and at a dose of 0.01% DEN a day in drinking water. The moxibustion group received Moxibustion on acupoint Zhu San Li besides the same dose of DEN. Immunohistochemistry, serum and tissue biochemistry methods were used to study the effect of Moxibustion on the development of DEN-induced hepatocarinoma of rats at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th week respectively. Results: Moxibustion has some effects in decreasing the excessive expression of CDK4 , CyclinDl and controling the abnormal expression of p53 and p16 in precancerous lesion cells. It decreases GGT and GST in serum to a certain extent. Conclusion: It is possible that Moxibustion could inhibit precancerous lesion and postpone hepatocarcinogenesis. It is worthy of deeper investigation.
