Primary hepatocellular carcinoma is one of the diseases that have the highest incidence and mortality rate. Moxibustion has a good effect on accelerating immune ability, especially in the treatment of tumor and cancer based on the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With an eye to the effects of different courses of the treatment,this study observed the effects of direct moxibustion on the GanShu point in Rat’s precancerous lesion of primary hepatocellular carcinomaObjectiveThis study assesses 60 Rats in precancerous lesion with different courses of direct Moxibustion. To observe the change of serum Aspartate Transaminase (AST), Alanine Aminotransferase(ALT), Glutamyl Transpeptidase (GGT),tumor specific growth factor (TSGF) and tumor necrosis factor a (TNF-a) at different points in time. And to reveal the mechanisms of direct moxibustion of Ganshu point on the biological effects at the cellular level.Methods:Select sixty clean wistar rats,180±10g,male. Divided them into control group(10),model group(20),prevention 1 group(15) and prevention 2 group(15) randomly. The study was performed after the rats were allowed to acclimate for 1 week.By using the methods of intraperitoneal injection twice a week of diethylnitrosamine(DEN) to established HCC model.DEN was dissolved in 0.9% brine, In prevention 1 group and prevention 2 group given direct moxibustion treatment on the point of "Ganshu"at the beginning of intraperitoneal injection,5 doses/acupoint, once on alternate days.The prevention groups wentgo moxibustion treatment one therapeutic and two therapeutics respectively.After treatment continue to accept intraperitoneal injection until 12 weeks.Draw blood the day before model established,on the 20th day,the 40th day and the 84th day.Detected the serum ALT,AST,GGT with chemical method while detected the serum TSGF and TNF-a with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method.ResultsBefore model established, there were no significant differences of all indexs in each group, statistical data can be compared.On the 20th day, Serum AST, ALT, GGT, TSGF and TNF-a of the model group were markedly increased than the control group (p<0.05).Serum AST, ALT of the prevent 1 group markedly decreased compared with model group (p<0.05). Serum GGT of the prevent 1 group seems to be a downward trend (p>0.05).Serum TSGF and TNF-α of the model group showed a significant rise in conparison with the control group(p<0.01). compared with model group, Serum TSGF and TNF-a of the prevent 1 group showed no significant difference, but the trend is downward(p>0.05).on the 40th day, Serum AST, ALT,GGT, TSGF and TNF-aof the model group were greatly higher than the control group (p<0.05). Serum AST, ALT,GGT of the prevent 2 group seems to be a downward trend (p>0.05). Compared with model group, serum TSGF and TNF-aof the prevent 2 group significantly decreased compared with model group (p<0.05)on the 84th day, after model established, the contents of serum AST, ALT,GGT,TSGF and TNF-αare enhanced. ConclusionDirect moxibustion perform the action to reduce the contents of serum ALT,AST,GGT and may has the protective effects of liver functionin.The expre-ssion of the tumor ma rker TSGF and TNF-a can be decreased, the resuls preliminarily tells us that the thera py may inhibit precancerouse lesion and postpone hepatocarcinogenesis. The effects is closely related to the length of treatment, but can’t pervent disease development absol utely.
