The material basis of Chinese compound priscriptions is very important, and penetrating into the effective fraction will lay a foundation for realizing the deeping of TCM theory from medicines compatility to chemical components compatility. On thebase of these viewpoints, a Chinese compound priscription--------Sinisa recipe wasstudied to separate the active fraction . Main works are as follows:The experement of systematic solvent extraction showed that part n-butanol can improve small intestine propulsion in normal mice.The RP-HPLC determination method of main substance of active fraction in Sinisa recipe was established > and the extraction process of Sinisa was optimized by orthogonal experimental design .The water-decocted liquid of Sinisa recipe was puried by alcohol. macroporous resin, ultrafilter and clatrification agent . Screening the purification condition by means of the content of active principle , HPLC fingerprint chromatography , the weight of dry extracts , et al. of the purified product. The pruified product of type HP20 macoroporous resign has good agreement with part n-butanol in the chemical composition of specific principles . The HP20 was the best for adsorbing and separating water-decocted liquid in the following technological conditions: the concentration of the sample was 5ml/g; the current velocity , 3ml/min; the eluting reagent, 50% ethnanol(8 times the volume of the resign); eluting velocity, 2ml/min;In a word, the active fraction of Sinisa recipe was verified, and its determination, fingerprinting, curative effect and quality control were studied in this paper.
