Anatomical Plate In The Treatment Of Intertrochanteric Fractures Observed

Objective:To compare the clinical effect on the intertrochanteric fractures in proximal femoral anatomic plate and the DHS fixation and to approach the indication, methods and announcement and treatment before operation, during operation and after operation.Documents and methods:According to the standard of internalizion and depletion , select thirty five cases with follow-up record. Thirty five cases with femoral intertrochanteric fracture from 2002.2 ~ 2006.2 in the traditional Chinese medicine hospital of Hubei province and the Wuhan General Hospital of PLA were divided into two groups randomly according to different internal fixation. The 17 patients dealt with DHS fixation and 18 patients dealt with proximal femoral anatomic plate fixation.The period of follow-up was between 8 months to 12 months.Recorded the time and blood loss,blood-transfusion during operation in both groups, and fluped the occurrence of complications.The statistical analysis was performed by SPSS 13.0Result:There were significance difference in time during operation between the DHS fixation group and proximal femoral anatomic plate fixation group(P<0.01),the time during operation in the proximal femoral anatomic plate fixation group was shorter than that of DHS fixation group.The blood loss and blood- transfusion during operation was compared in the two groups by T test and it show that the volume of blood loss and blood- transfusion in the proximal femoral anatomic plate fixation group was less than the DHS fixation group(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in postoperative complications incidence rate between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:The patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture should be operated. Proximal femoral anatomic plate shows the advantage of good molding and good fixationand less injury.It is relatively an ideal implant for treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fracture at present.
