Spleen Qi Soup "after Gastrointestinal Cancer T Lymphocyte Immune Function

Point:The patients with the stomach and intestines malignant tumor always have dyspepsia and hypoimmunity. Stress reaction due to operation, narcotic and analgestic can interrupt the normal immune system through nerves, humor and other ways. This inhibition, which can harm normal immune system further, includes the hypofunction of cytoimmunity, humoral immunity and nonspecific immunity. Hypofunctional immune system can improve the currence of complications and be related to transfer and recurrence of tumor closely. It also can affect the further treatment. In one word, recovery time of immune function after operation is important to the prognosis. We use decoction named "Jian Pi Yi Qi Decoction" .which has the function to envigorate spleen and renforce qi to treat the patients of DT tumor post-op. We assess the clinical affectiveness of this decoction through the comparations between experimental and control group. The conparations include healing time and the change of T lymphocytes subgroup such as CD3, CD4, CD8, CD4/CD8.METHOD: We have 20 patients with the stomach and intestines malignant tumor, who need to operate, and divide them into 2 group through operation time randomly. Control group has routine treatment post-op, including antibiotic and fluid infusion. All these treatment can not affect the normal immune function. Experimental group takes the same treatment to the first and also use decoction from the 8 th day to the 14th day, one dose one time and twice a day. Seven days make a course of treatment.We monitor the appetite stomachache, abdominal distension, disgusted vomit, temperature and the level of T lymphocytes subgroup such as CD3 , CD4, CD8, CW/CD8 before and after the treatment.Result After 14 days cure, the treated sufferer's clinical symptom such as appetite, stomachache, abdominal distension, disgusted vomit and so on all have the improvement.
