| Objective To evaluate the current situation of overweight and obesity in the primary school and the cause of overweight and obesity, and study the effects of overweight and obesity on physiology growth. To discover the mail problem in overweight and obesity children, furthermore investigate how to prevent the obesity occurrence and raise the obesity children's living quantity from health life style and reasonable meal. Study the valid method and contents to intervene the overweight and obesity children's health life style, and put forward intervention mode on this foundation.Methods:1. Cross-sectional study 744 students from grade 3-5in Taoyuan primary school in Taiyuan were investigated with cluster sampling, who were physical examination. Check out 81 overweight and obesity children as the subjects. 81 cases were assessed at physiology growth index (height, weight, blood pressure, lung capacity), the blood fat measure, the pupil's healthy questionnaire, the meal investigate, the parent's healthy questionnaire.2. Intervention experiment 81 case were randomly divided into intervention group (n=41) and control group (n=40). The healthy life style intervention and the food structure intervention were given to the intervention group. As the same time, the healthy life style intervention was given to the children'parents in the intervention group. The control group was without any intervention. Specific intervention methods were as follows:⑴Children healthy education: carry on with the form of the cathedra, which was given one times each tow weeks and about one period each times, in total six times. Adopt the multimedia to carry on the teaching, with lecture, game, contest, ask etc methods to explain contents in detail.
