Objective: To investigate whether bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cell could alleviate senescent indicators of D-galactase induced aging mice. Method: Aging mice model was induced by consecutively subcutaneous injection of 5% D-galactase (0.25ml/10g) for 8 weeks. Parameters including weight of total body and immune organ, SOD activity and the conent of MDA in liver and serum , blood GSH-PX activity were selected as senescent indicators.Results: BMMSC infusion could alleviate all the selected senescent indicators, as compared to control group.Conclusion: Our results show that the application of BMMSCs can ameliorate aging related indexes of D-galactase induced aging model implying the anti-aging potential of BMMNC .
