Students' Internet Addiction And Personality Factors Research

Objective:1. To investigate Internet use of college students and their on-line behaviors.2. To investigate the relative factors of Internet addiction college students and their mental health.3. To investigate the precaution and measure of college students with Internet addiction disorder.Method:1.We randomly selected four different colleges in Jiangsuprovince from April 2005 to June 2005. Totally 550 collegestudents were surveyed about their Internet use by means ofInternet Addiction Impairment Index (IAII) and the self-madequestionnaire of Internet use.2. From September 2005 to December 2005, students who werediagnosed moderate Internet addiction were selected. Throughthe interview, 24 students who diagnosed Internet addictionwere surveyed with 16PF, SCL-90, SDS, UCLA, and compared with thenorm group.Results:1.
