Pedicle Screws In Spinal Fracture Dislocation With Spinal Cord Injury In Clinical Application

Objective: To evaluate the situation and effect of pedicle screw using in spinal fracture and spinal cord injure , to reseach the best way of pedicle screw in clinical application .and to offer the reference for clinical application and to rich the contents of the spinal surgery .To provide evidence for clinical application with the pedicle screw reseach on spinal fracture.Methods: To reseach the patients in Jilin City Hospital fromFebruany, 2003 to Octomber 2005 who suffered from spinal fracture and spinal cord injure , the results using pedicle screws were analyzed .On the average one year was used per patient. The standard of ASIA was used to evaluate the clinical results .The results were statistically analyzed.Results:1 Up to Octomber 2005, one half of thirty patients with complete spinalcord injury were E after operations.2, Up to Octomber. 2005, 28/32 patients with uncomplete spinal cord injurywere E after operation.3 There is a significant difference between the patients who were operatedin 6 hours and the patients who were not.Conclusion:1 Pedicle screw Using in spinal fracture and spinal cord injure has the important clinical significance .It can keep the spinal stable in three dimentions .2 Pedicle screw internal fixation system has a significent result in location and it also can relieve the pressure of spinal cord.
