Lactulose Hydrogen Breath Test For Determination Of Mouth Blind By The Time Value In The Diagnosis And Classification Of Chronic Functional Constipation

The Chronic Funotional Constipation (CFC) is a frequently seen disease in clinic. The objective and accurate diagnosis of CFC will be helpful for the objective and standardi- zation research of the diagnosing-treating of CFC. The comprehensive and systematic review of CFC diagnostic test by clinical epidemiology method will make CFC diagnosis more objective and scientific.The orocecal transi time (OCTT) of 29 patients with CFC and 8 controls were determined by breath hydrogen test (HBT) method, to study the relationship between it and diagnosis or classification or syndrome differentiation of CFC; and to systematicly evaluate the diagnostic value of them to CFC in clinical epidemiology comparing with the present diagnosis standard, and to provide reference for the objecdve diagnosis of CFC inclinic, to make progress in the objective and standardization rearch of CFC.The results indicated that:the OCTT of the CFC with STC had significant difference comparing with those of the CFC with NTC(P<0. 05); the OCTT ofbetween deficiency or excess of the CFC had very significant difference (P<0. 01).Conclusions: Mensuration of OCTT by BHT may be used for choosing the CFC patients with different classification and syndrome differentiation, Because its high sensitivity and specificity.
