Curriculum construction is directly related to the quality of teaching and related to fostering high-quality talent, which is the central work in colleges and universities. Although long length of schooling for traditional Chinese medicine in our school has been in operation for 16 years, some improvements in education theory have to be done because of a long academic training cycle.This paper starts from current status of traditional Chinese medicine curriculum construction in our school, compared between five-year bachelor and master degree in traditional Chinese medical profession. Also this paper supplies investigation results from this year's graduates and employers. I concluded the problems hidden in curriculum construction of traditional Chinese medical profession. The leading ones as following: The current curriculum system is too cumbersome, not reasonable enough, and not persistent from bachelor phase to master phase. We should not dissever medical education and humanities and social sciences education. And lastly, training methods can not satisfy us.Secondly, in reference to the successful experience of foreign medical education, this paper gives some suggestions on long length traditional Chinese medical curriculum construction. These focus on following aspects: reforming the existing curriculum to make the curriculum modular, changing curriculum from courses mode to thesis mode, integrating classroom teaching and clinical practice, expanding the knowledge of students, strengthening the exercise on capacity. This paper aims to give reference on the reform of long length traditional Chinese medicine.
