In modernized medical teaching, the medical video teaching material has played an increasingly important role, and the research on its design is of great importance. In this paper, the author first analyzes the content of the medical video teaching material and introduce its classification.One of the key points of this paper is the design of the video teaching material, which is divided into four aspects as the teaching quality, the science quality, the art quality and the entertainment quality. In the design of teaching quality, the author concentrates on the knowledge category of the text book, the recognizing structure of the students, the necessity of proposing the project and the current resource. In the analysis of science and art quality, with dialectic view, the author deals with the interchange of the dominant status of these two quality under certain condition. Properly, that is, to emphasize on art edification in the process of knowledge spreading. For the entertainment quality, the author combines the conception and means with the design.Another key point of this paper is the production of the medical video teaching material. The author expounds the production in five aspects as follows: Firstly, he discusses the new change of the composition of the photography group. Secondly, he makes discussion on the change of the comprehensive quality of Medical Chief Editor in script writing. Thirdly, the author introduces the small variation in multi-lens formats, and focuses on the dialectic usage of the art and entertainment quality in multi-lens formats. Fourthly, he deals with the material photographing. He introduces the changes in the ways of getting materials, and concentrates on handling the relationship between the small variation in modern photography progress and the qualities of art, entertainment and science. Finally, the author introduces the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional and the modern non-linear editing, and emphasizes on the working progress of the two stages of the non-linear editing in details (preparation for various kinds of symbols, the execution stages and the composite stage).
