| Objective: This thesis makes a retrospective study of patients with integrated materials and followed up by regular visits to intertrochanter fracture of the old femur for three years, does an objective evaluation of closed type reposition through traditional Chinese medicine's bone-setting manipulation, treatment mainly with external fixation and the results after open reduction and internal fixation operation to provide reference of the treatment to intertrochanter fracture.Method: Patients with intertrochanter fracture of the old femur in Liaoning Haicheng Orthopedics Hospital were chosen as objectives and divided into two groups: closed type reposition through traditional Chinese medicine's bone-setting manipulation and orif (open reduction and internal fixation) operation to observe therapeutic results after these two methods followed up by regular visits for three years, then to grade the results with Harris, to assay patients' recovery conditions through images and gait analysis.Results: Closed type reposition through traditional Chinese medicine's bone-setting manipulation of bone fractures classified with Evans: 1 case of I type, 11 cases of II type, 17 cases of III type, 1 case of IV type. The Harris score is 80.14±1.21. Orif (open reduction and internal fixation) of bone fractures classified with Evans: 1 case of I type, 9 cases of II type, 19 cases of III type, 2 cases of IV type. The Harris score is 72.34±1.47.Conclusions: If indication was properly chosen, closed type reposition through traditional Chinese medicine's bone-setting manipulation to patients with intertrochanter fracture of the old femur has advantages compared with other treatments. It has good therapeutic effects, few complications, high safety coefficient, low fees and short operation time. It is more acceptable to older patients than operation treatment. Its Lying in bed time is obviously shorter than expectant treatment, which is good for earlier period exercises. |
