| 【Objective】The aim is to investigate the effects of Xiaochaihutang formula on anti-oxygenized ability and immunologic system function in subacute aging model rats.【Methods】The level of Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) were analyzied in clear supernatant liquid of hippocampus major tissue bomogenate using the SOD and GSH-Px detection kits, the formation ratio of active E-rosette forming cell (Ea-RFC) in blood serum were observed by microscope and the changes of thymic weight were measured using electronic balance.【Results】Xiaochaihutang formula could raise the level of SOD and GSH-Px in clear supernatant liquid of hippocampus major tissue bomogenate of subacute aging model rats (P＜0.05) obviously, raise the thymus weight (P＜0.05), raise the formation rate of Ea-RFC (P＜0.05).【Conclusion】Xiaochaihutang formula has the function to postpone the senile proceeding in subacute aging model rats. |
