Objective:To investigate the effect of astragalus poly saccharides(APS)on insulin resistance to GLUT4 of rats with type 2 diabetes, the expression of resistance mRNA and protein, the effect of APS on the relative index of IR and to study the effect of early interference of ARS on insulin resistance of rats with type 2 diabetes.Methods:The rats model with Type 2 diabetes were induce by high calorie feeding and small dose injection of STZ .Wistar rats were randomly divided into group,diabetic model treated with APS (800mg/kg/d), APS (400mg/kg/d), APS (200mg/kg/d) and normal control group .The mRNA Expression of GLUT4 and resistin was metered by RT-PCR; the protein Expression of GLUT4 and Resistin was determind by SDS-PAGE at the end of 12 weeks ; the levels of FPG,FINS,TG,HDL,LDL,CH and ISI,IS,IR,HβCI were medsured at the end of 12 weeks .Results:1)APS can reduce the inculin resistance of 2-DM rata significantly. 2)The mRNA expression of GLUT4 in the treatment group with APS is much resistance modle group of 2-DM while(p<0.01) .the protein expression mcreases. 3)The expression of resistin gene mRNA do rats in the treatment group with APS is much less than that in the model group of 2-DM IR miulin resistance (p<0.01) while the expression of its protein ,also decreases. 4)APS can significanlg decrease the blood sugar of 2-DM IR rats with insulin resistin . 5)APS can decrease the content of 2-DM IR rats with insulin resistance while increase the contenet of the blood serum HDL.Conclude:APS decoction can effectively ameliorate adipose metabolic disturbance by increasing the mRNA and the protein Expression of GLUT4 and reducing the mRNA and the protein Expression of Resistin.APS deconction can reduce FPG and IR in 2-DM rats.
